Cinematic I made in Unity using my character models.

I was the professor for the class that produced this short, “Foxy’s Style” as the capstone project by graduating class of Miami Dade College’s animation program. Two students pitched the idea of a Fox and a Hedgehog who run a fashion store to the school’s staff and industry relations. Over the course of 1-year I instructed a class of 32 students 4-days a week to take their pitch from an idea to completed 2 minute short film.
My role was to oversee and organize the project into groups to solve challenges in character art, environment art, and storytelling, mentoring their work and driving them to produce weekly deliverables.

This is a 2D animated commercial I worked on. I researched the topic, wrote the script, drew storyboards, edited the animatic, created the character rigs, then animated the characters and vehicles. Made using Illustrator & After Effects.
I taught students how to use Maya and Unity to model, texture, and design 3D environments. These are some of their final projects, made in groups of 4 over two weeks.

Comedy is all about timing, I helped my students with these comedic moments for their animated short film, Foxy’s Style.

I created this Unity prototype using the Standard Assets Package and scripts by YouTuber Jimmy Vegas to allow the WASD keys to control the car while the mouse controls the turret.
I worked on crowd animations for a bank heist game in the Source Engine, and also scripted the animation playback and blending using existing assets from CS: Source.
This is the first commercial game project I worked on, and was one of the first 3D games available on the first iPhones in 2009, we were featured on iTunes as a Staff Pick.
I enjoy drawing & painting to take a break from all the digital art I make, it’s nice to have a physical product that others can enjoy!
